Josh turns 17

As I mentioned in an earlier post we have one of our nephews living with is from Seattle. His birthday was March 23 on Easter Sunday. He was bit bummed that he had to share his big day with the Easter Bunny but he was pretty good about it.
A little bit about Josh is he loves Basketball. We have found it is one of his favorite sports he can eat sleep and drink Basket ball
Another thing he loves more that life is watching ESPN' s Sports Center.
Josh it super funny. He makes us laugh all the time. He has one one of those witty Sense of humors.
He loves movies. especially anything ultra gay and with Amanda Bines in it. J/K I made him watch "She's the Man" with Amanda Bines and after he said "my gay stock just went up about 10 points." He loves action movies and especially Scary movies. He has to watch them alone.
He loves Four Wheeling. We did that in St. George and he had a blast.
He loves his Cousins. Mostly he tolerates the younger ones but he has great relationships with the ones his own age.
When he moved to Utah he gave up soda for a few weeks and lost about 13 lbs.

My cousin Staci and I made him a basket ball cake for his big day. Staci is an amazing Cake maker.

Here is Josh at his birthday party with his all his best friends. HAHA He was a good sport about having all the kids 10 and under share in his big day. He let the kids help blow or should I say spit the candles out. We made home made pizza one of his favorites. What a great opportunity we have to have Josh with us. We sure love him.

DAYS 5,6& 7
My first week is done and was good...
My first weekend...BOO
I weighed in on Sat and lost nothing (yuck) then was so ticked off I did good on Sat but then Sunday I said forget it and just had whatever I wanted... weighed in this morning Down 2lbs. (Can you believe it??) What a crazy thing. But today I am back at it and will kick it out.
(thanks Mike for the shake tip I will pick some up today and give them a try)

DAY 3&4 (Feb 11 2011)
Day 3 I decided to wake up and do my workout before the kids woke up. So I got up about 6...I did get my workout in but I was a wast of a person for the rest of the day. I could hardly function I was so tired.
That lead into Day 4 where I was still wasted, and I had so much to do that day with the kids and school that even though I was in my workout clothes all day I never did get a chance to get it in.
The food part of this is having its challenges. But, I will figure it out. I just love food too much. And these protein shakes I have are not so delish, that makes it hard to choke them down

Day 2 (Feb 8 2011)
workout sucked. It was this crazy thing called pylometrics (whatever) The only thing I kept telling myself is that "I know that when I can actually do this like the people on the video do it I will have ARRIVED"
Lena woke up from her nap after only 45 min so I only got through 3/4 of the workout. Then Steve twisted my arm to go to lunch and I had fish and chips (ouch) i don't know i told myself that is my only meal for the day. hahaha
Since my lunch was "not on the diet" I went to the gym tonight and ran and road the bike for an hour.

Top Ten: 1- Color, Blue and Green. 2- Food, Pizza 3- Thing- Friends, Friends, Friends. 4- She is good at school which is a surpise since steve and I were horrible at it & she loves it ( thats just crazy to me) 5- Watching her in Cheer: she loves the stage 6- Reading stories with her at bed time 7- Her cute stories, Plays, and notes she makes us 8- Watching her become a GREAT big sister 9- Listening to her play the piano 10- when she tells me she loves me when she leaves the house or goes to bed.

You could be wispering but if you are mad at him he yells "Stop yelling at me". 10- When he is leaving for school and the whole way down the driveway he is yelling "bye, I love you; bye, I love you"

Top Ten: 1- Color, Green. 2- Food, Chocolet Milk. 3- Thing, Star Wars The Clone Wars Game. 4- His random singing of anything. 5- When he knows he has been bad and tells me again and again on the way to time out "I'm sorry mom I'll be sweet, I'll be sweet, I'LL BEEE SWEEET!!!" 6- The fact that he is officially a Preschool drop-out. 7- He could spend the whole day outside and love it. 8- He is comidic in every sense of the word. He loves a crowd and loves to make people laugh 9- His voice is so cute and the way he says things 10. His unyeilding love for his "brother Josh", Jaden and Regan. They are always his "best freinds"
