Just a bit of Hoops

Josh is doing a bit of Jr Jazz this season. He has been doing great. We got some great shots at his game last week. He could eat sleep and poop Basketball. (and UFC) I think they are 6-2 they have 2 more games and then they go to the playoffs. We have had fun at his games seeing him do something he loves (cuz it sure isn't math class) :D
Look at that Form, I think Josh likes this pic the most because he has on his favorite shoes he got from his Mom.

Skiing with my Pops

I was raised with skiing in my blood. Its my FAVORITE thing to do.
This was a great day with my Dad who has taught up at Solitude for 50 years now. Its been his weekend hobby for all these years. He is the top dog on the instructor staff now and still has decades to go!!

Family Night attempt # 5

Every year sometime in January when the new year has changed and we have made our list of resolutions and goals for the year we come around to family night. Steve and I have attempted this horrendous task many times and failed miserably every time.
It usually consist of Steve loudly stating or demanding however you put it. That everyone is going to sit down and listen to a short lesson. There is usually a 5 min "round up" of the kids and then the fiasco begins.
If at first you don't succeed try, try again. A perfect motto for this.
Well several months have passed since a formal family night has been attempted and as you can see we actually had two kids not only present but into it. Bryson was who knows where we gave up on that. Josh was present and Steve was so shocked we had 2 of 3 little kids sitting down listening he had to document our success.
So far we have done this twice.
(don't want to drown them in family togetherness to fast, got to ease them in)
Its been good I think we will try again tomorrow.

Finally - A Christmas Post

Leading up to Christmas I always think "I'm going to keep it simple this year just a few gifts for each plus what Santa brings" this year as usual I got carried away. By the time our stuff is out Santa has come and Grandma and Grandpa bring in their haul the kids are overwhelmed and Steve and I end up opening the last few gifts for the boys. And then you have Regan "Is this all, is there any more? the boys got more that me (pout pout pout)" I had to remind her that once the boys got done with 3 gifts they were off playing as though the rest of the gifts were meaningless. In the end we all had a great christmas and enjoyed all of it. Steve spoiled me as usual, He is too good to me.
